Our in-house digital team produced some excellent video content recently for the Institute of Quarrying (IQ). We were asked to reproduce more than 10 videos in a tight timeframe ready for the launch of a new careers-focused website, Minerals Matter.
We never shy away from a challenge. In fact, we saw it as an opportunity for our apprentice to hone her skills in Adobe Premiere Pro.
In the space of a week, we recreated branded intros/outros to seamlessly fit with the online Minerals Matter brand. We also reclipped the edits of several previously produced videos that the IQ had in their marketing asset library.
All videos were produced on time and have since been uploaded to the Minerals Matter website.
The purpose of Minerals Matter is to raise the profile of the sector and inspire young people and adults to become the next generation of quarrying and mineral products professionals. It is a project involving several respected industry organisations and employers.
Video content is a highly valued media channel for younger demographics (HubSpot, 2022). Therefore, all of the video content that we produced will be used within all ongoing digital marketing communications activities.
Did you know that one minute of video is equal to 1.8 million written words? Videos are a great way to explain your product and showcase what’s on offer, in a variety of ways over a range of platforms. By creating engaging content, customers are more likely to interact.
