A Roarsome PR campaign for new Nottinghamshire event Dino Kingdom
The chances are if you’re based in the East Midlands then you would have heard about Dino Kingdom Nottinghamshire. Our PR team did a roarsome job at achieving more than 150 pieces of known coverage, totalling 23.7 million in reach.
Our three-month media campaign combined a variety of PR tactics, including influencer marketing, news content generation, a preview stunt, media interviews, press competitions, and engagement with DMOs and local authorities.
Campaign highlights
We could write a mammoth list here. Instead, we’ve selected our top achievements:
5 TV broadcasts: Our number one highlight has got to be securing broadcast coverage with key TV news outlets, the equivalent to thousands of pounds in advertising costs: BBC East Midlands, BBC Look North, ITV Central, ITV News, and Notts TV.
9 media interviews: Dino Kingdom was the first event of its kind to come to the East Midlands, which was a talking point in the several media interviews we set up with the organiser. Interviews appeared on BBC Radio Nottingham, BBC News Online, Nottinghamshire Live, Mansfield Chad, ITV News and BBC East Midlands and BBC Look North, Notts TV and Rother Radio.
25+ influencer and press visits: On the day of the event launch, we staged a press call and invited influencers and key media to experience the immersive Jurassic journey. We had more than 25 influencers attend the event within the first week, with photos, videos and reels creating a ‘roarsome’ buzz across social media.
1 radio contra deal: Our communications campaign also involved setting up and managing a contra deal between Dino Kingdom and Bauer Radio’s Hallam FM and GEM. The partnership was a huge success, with Dino Kingdom earning airtime at pivotal times of the day.
